The internet has been abuzz today, after the release of the trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi, but some of the more eagle-eyed fans think they’ve spotted Darth Vader in the new sequel’s new poster.
According to Comic Book, Star Wars fans on Twitter are making assertions that the way the characters have been arranged on this new poster forms Darth Vader’s headpiece. The hood on Luke’s Jedi robe makes the crown of the headpiece, while Rey and Kylo Ren are placed either side where the lenses would be. Leia is located where the nose would be, and the remaining characters come together to form the helmet’s triangular mouthpiece. Then, the Resistance’s Ski Speeders seem to round out the helmet’s neck.
And while this might seem ridiculous, take a look at the tweet below, where one fan has put an overlay of Vader on top of the poster:

Spooky, no? It wouldn’t be a huge leap to think that those behind the promotional art would want to include something of Vader – after all, he’s the reason this whole thing started, and the entire saga is about his family.
What do you think? Are we supposed to be seeing Vader in this image, or are we blinded by excitement?
