From Marvel’s Next Big Thing panel comes another instalment of the recent “Weapons of Mutant Destruction” crossover – a Hulk/Wolverine hybrid character, a.k.a. Weapon H.
A Wolverine/Hulk hybrid is the premise behind this comicbook, which imagines what would happen if the Weapon X Project somehow mixed together Wolverine and Hulk’s DNA to create a Hulk with adamantium claws. Now, according to Marvel editor Nick Lowe, speaking at NYCC, the crossover is slated to become its own series.
“It is the most eight-year-old idea… and I love it,” Lowe said.
Weapon H debuted in Totally Awesome Hulk #22 back in August, written by Greg Pak and Robert Gill. No creative team was revealed for this new series, but fans can expect the book to make its debut in March 2018, following on from the other two new releases: Rogue & Gambit and Legion.
