Continuing their streak of stellar post-launch support for Rainbow Six Siege, Ubisoft has announced that the game will be receiving a co-op zombie mode, as part of its Year Three content.
This new addition comes alongside the usual updates of new operators and maps and will feature two of the new operators putting their skills to the test against hordes of hungry undead. The new co-op romp is titled Mission Outbreak (sounds to me like a dodgy Resident Evil spin-off) and will allow three players to team-up in zombie-killing action.
These new additions are just part one of the puzzle however, with four seasons planned throughout the game’s third year on the market. In total, players look set to receive 8 new operators “from the world’s highly performing CTU’s”, 2 brand new maps set in Morocco and Italy, and a all new makeover to an existing map, featuring a new level design and art direction.
Players can pick up the Year Three pass from December 12 and all current Rainbow Six Siege players will have the chance to play the new Mission Outbreak, completely for free, during a four-week event period.
More details are to follow leading up to the Six Invitational 2018, which runs Feb 13 to 18.
