Valve Announces New Game, No Not That One

Today, Valve announced a new game and the internet is ablaze with outrage at the fact that no, it isn’t Half Life 3 and also not a real Dota game. The game in question is Artefact: The Dota Card Game and is a card-based spin off of the Dota series.

The game is being headed up by ex-Double Fine developer Brad Muir who announced his involvement via Twitter. Artefact: The Dota Card Game is already being compared to Blizzard‘s Hearthstone which is a spin-off of the World of Warcraft series.

We don’t have much to go on at this point other than a short teaser trailer, which you can check out below. The end of the trailer indicates a 2018 release date.
